Ruan
Minor (1 mile)
Treal
Farm is approximately one mile from the small village of
Ruan Minor. Here you will find a village shop with groceries,
off-licence, video hire, post office and cash machine. The
shop also stocks locally produced, home-prepared ready meals
from 'Caroline's Kitchen', ideal if you don't want to cook.
There is also a greengrocers, that sells locally produced
fruit and vegetables. There is also a recreation field with
play equipment.
Kennack
Sands (1 mile)
Kennack
Sands boasts a fabulous, sandy beach with car parking, café
and beach shop. The Kennack Sands Inn is close by and welcomes
families. The pub has a restaurant, garden and offers takeaway
food. Kennack
Pottery and Creativity Centre has many activities specifically
aimed at pre school children and others that the whole family
can enjoy, from pot throwing to ceramic painting and clay
modelling.
Cadgwith
(1 mile)
Cadgwith
is a small, picturesque, fishing village with a crab shop,
art & crafts gallery, restaurant and pub. Fish BBQ's
and gig rowing take place in the summer. For some real 'me-time',

Therapies. Where you can enjoy a combination of therapies
that provide a relaxing experience to any busy parent.
The
Lizard (3 miles)
The
village of the Lizard is the most southerly point of mainland
UK. The village is bustling in summer and has gift shops,
restaurant, pub, cafés and fish and chip shop. There
are many wonderful coastal walks and secluded coves to explore,
as well as the light house and lifeboat station. Try a pasty
from Ann's
Famous Pasty Shop and those with green-fingers will
want to visit Cross
Common Nursery to see an inspiring range of exotic and
unusual plants.
